David Sarpong recently joined the HSE ISSEK Research Laboratory for Science and Technology Studies as a senior research fellow. In this interview with the HSE News Service, he shares his first impressions of Moscow and HSE, as well as his expectations for the future.

On July 1–2, 2015, the funding parties met at the Saint Petersburg State University to take the final funding decision on multilateral research projects to be funded in the framework of the ERA.NET Plus with Russia, an initiative supported under the EU’s Seventh Framework Programme for Research (FP7). Elena Nasybulina, leading expert of the National Contact Point (NCP) for the international mobility of researchers at HSE ISSEK, made a presentation at the meeting. Along with the HSE ISSEK Foresight Centre, NCP conducted a study to determine the priorities of scientific partnership.

The 6th conference of the European Survey Research Association titled “Reykjavik is the Capital of Parsimony” took place in Reykjavik, Iceland. Among the LCSR members who presented at ESRA 15, there were four staff members and three associate researchers.
