Jorge Luis Méndez-Martínez, a researcher at IL LLFP, became the winner of the competition of the National Council of Mexico for Science and Technology. Jorge spoke about his research in an interview with the HSE portal.

Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug is a major oil-producing region in Russia with a favorable demographic situation and a range of measures in place to support families with children. The reproductive attitudes of the population of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and the factors of their implementation were discussed at the seminar "Fertility and reproductive attitudes of the population of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug: results of an expedition trip", organized by the International Laboratory for Population and Health, HSE University.

The report was presented by Olga Rodina, a research assistant at the International Laboratory for Population and Health, a PhD student at the HSE Vishnevsky Institute of Demography.

Arkady Shaldov made a presentation on the topic of "The semantics of kind reference" at the seminar "From the logical point of view" on November 29.

The journal Epistemology and Philosophy of Science published an article by A.S. Bobrova and E.G. Dragalina-Chernaya entitled "Counterexamples to modus ponens: Logical Correctness and epistemic rationality."

During the event on December 28, 2024, Alexander Krenke and Mikhail Puzachenko, senior researchers at the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences, spoke about the heterogeneity of the territory on various scales in landscape and climatic zoning.

On November 27, Viktoriia Denisova made a presentation at the Colloquia Logicae seminar at Unicamp University, Brazil.
