The concluding events of the 11th International Conference on Applied Economics, iCare, included the workshop "Game On: Insights into Performance, Perception, and Strategy in Sports and Esports," organized by the International Laboratory of Intangible-driven Economy at HSE Perm, and the expert session "Researching Creative Industries in the Perm Region". The wide range of topics presented allowed for a better understanding of behavioral strategies not only in esports but also in other areas of the economy, while unique data provided different perspectives on economic issues.

On October 14, 2024, International Partnership Day Russia–Brazil took place at HSE University. The event was organised in collaboration with the Brazilian Embassy in Moscow and marked the first Brazilian academic and scientific mission to Russia, leading to the signing of cooperation agreements between HSE University and four Brazilian universities.

On Wednesday, October 16, the National Research University Higher School of Economics hosted a regular meeting of the All-Moscow seminar "Mathematical methods for analyzing optimal solutions in economics, business and politics".

On October 2, 2024, Vyacheslav Neverov, the Centers' research intern defended his PhD thesis.

The HSE academic unit "Schola" published an interview with Denis Maslov, dedicated to his academic career before HSE and research plans as a postdoc at the International Laboratory for Logic, Linguistics and Formal Philosophy.

Vasily Klucharev, HSE professor and Leading Research Fellow at the Institute for Cognitive Neuroscience, successfully defended his doctoral dissertation in cognitive science. This was the first doctoral dissertation in this discipline in Russia.
