The presenter was Pawel Boski, professor, head of laboratory of cultural psychology and cross-cultural research, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, head of department of cross-cultural psychology, Polish Academy of Sciences (Poland).

On December 20th, Victoria Galyapina, candidate of science (Ph.D.), associate professor of Stavropol State University, made a presentation on “Methods for meaningful intercultural dialogue in the North Caucasus” in the ILSCR.

Values and attitudes toward immigration

11th December, in the International Laboratory for Socio-Cultural Research the seminar on "Values and attitudes toward immigration: a multilevel analysis". A presentation was made by Peter Schmidt, PhD, professor of Giessen University and HSE, the head of the laboratory.

Researchers of the ILSCR at the conference “Psychology of Individuality”

The 4th Conference “Psychology of Individuality” took place on 22d November. Researchers of the International Laboratory for Socio-Cultural Research participated in the conference. The section "Identity and Culture" was lead by the head of the lab Nadezhda Lebedeva.

The ethnic identity of the person in the context of traditional culture of the North-East part of Russia

A.A. Buchek, the Doctor of Psychology, the Professor of Theoretical and Applied Psychology of Kamchatka State University gave a report on the regular scientific seminar of ILSCR on 22d November. In the presentation “The ethnic identity of the person in the context of traditional culture of the North-East part of Russia” A.A. Buchek spoke about her study of different ethnic groups of Kamchatka, and its theoretical basis.

Training course “Design and Methods in Cross-Cultural Psychology”

19-23 November, on the base of the ILSCR, the 5-days training course (workshop) “Design and Methods in Cross-Cultural Psychology” took place. It was a part of the training program of the ILSCR  “Advanced social psychology: theory, methodology, practice”.
