During the Days of Historical and Cultural Heritage event, which will run until the end of May, a variety of unique buildings, museums, exhibition halls, libraries, and cultural centres in Moscow will be open to the public free of charge. As usual, HSE University is participating in these events and extends an invitation to students, staff, and anyone interested to take part in the activities it has prepared.

Art enthusiasts are in for a treat at two newly opened exhibitions in Moscow. The first one is ‘Dialogue in Time and Space–Russian Art of XX–XXI Centuries’ at MMOMA, which showcases the evolution of Russian art from the 20th century to the present. The other exhibition is ‘Artist Tkachev—On the 100th Anniversary of Sergei Tkachev’ at the Tretyakov Gallery. These exhibitions offer an opportunity to explore the rich history and diverse art forms that have emerged from Russia.

In Russia, where many people are Orthodox Christians, Easter is one of the main celebrations of the year. The date of Orthodox Easter is sometimes the same as for Catholics and Protestants, and sometimes, different. In 2023, it falls on Sunday April 16th.
