The historical mall on Red Square is hosting a flower festival throughout the summer until September 11.

On July 8, Moscow will host its traditional retro transport parade, featuring 14 vintage tram cars and unique vehicles from various periods. The parade will start at Novokuznetskaya metro station and end at Chistoprudny Bulvar, where an exhibition of vintage transport will be open until 6 pm.

Famous writers have a huge impact on our cultural life; the characters they create can give us new insights and help us understand life better. But what do writers feel when they create a piece of writing and what helps them do so? Perhaps the answers to these and other questions about such figures can be found by looking at the environment where they lived and worked. Moscow has many ‘memorial apartments’ where visitors can learn more about famous writers and see how they lived—here is a selection of some of them.

On June 10, the CREATIVE HUB space will host lectures and concert performances by teachers and students of Sound Art and Sound Design. The event programme will run from 5 pm–10 pm and features student compositions and works by modern composers.

The exhibits created by the university’s contemporary artists in training reflect on how people are connected with nature. The exhibition is open until July 9.
