Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course explores the nature of innovation activities and crucial aspects of business development. It demonstrates how market competition can be understood as a process of entrepreneurial discovery where the permanent search for competitive advantages leads to innovation and growth. It discusses how entrepreneurs can create a culture of innovation in their organizations, how they can facilitate organizational changes and how to design a successful competitive strategy based on innovation and technological advancements. The course also pays attention to such issues as institutional, organizational and technological settings for successful innovation, as well as strategies for business internationalization and sustainable development.
