About the Programme

"Business Informatics" is an interdisciplinary area that integrates disciplines such as computer science, mathematics, economics, management. As defined by the IEEE Conference on Business Informatics, “Business Informatics is a scientific direction focused on the study of information processes and related phenomena in a socio-economic and business context, including companies, organizations, government and society as a whole ... As a field of research, business informatics is aimed at using a systems-analytical approach to integrate the basic concepts of management science, organization theory, informatics and economics ... ”.

 

The goal of the program is to train professionals in the development and use of information systems and technologies in business, with knowledge in the field of informatics, economics and management.

Features of the program

The emergence of the Business Informatics educational program is closely related to the requirements of the Russian labor market, which lacks qualified managers, system analysts, and system architects for the IT sphere. Graduates of the program make up the most demanded segment of IT specialists: system architects, system integrators, business analysts, IT managers, IT consultants, IT project managers, sales and services specialists, business development specialists.
