Laboratory for Diversity Research
The Garage Museum of Modern Art, together with the HSE International Laboratory for Social Integration Research, is launching a second course on the study of various aspects of diversity in society.
The course focuses on developing an understanding of a wide range of issues of diversity in society, including differences related to age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, physical and mental characteristics, and other social components that affect the construction of individuality.
The course includes a series of interactive meetings aimed at discussing and developing methods of social interaction in a diverse environment, with the participation of leading researchers and practitioners. In the format of group problem-oriented discussions, participants will consider various theoretical concepts of inclusion and social diversity, as well as try to develop strategies for the formation of inclusive programs within different social institutions.
