Short description
The new Master's programme at the HSE Faculty of Law, which prepares the most sought-after lawyers for the digital economy. The program includes two educational trajectories: “Law in the field of intellectual property and information technology” and “Law of digital platforms”.
Full-time program, teaching is carried out in Russian. There are also elective courses in English.
There are 25 budget places, as well as the possibility of paid education.
Tuition fee: 400,000 rubles. per year, discounts are provided.
What am I going to learn?
The master's program looks to create a balance between compulsory disciplines that provide the minimum necessary set of skills for subsequent professional activities, as well as ample opportunities for individualizing the educational process, taking into account your interests through elective disciplines.
Each student who enters the program will have Mentor workshops during the first two weeks, with the leaders of the respective track. They will help the student choose the Track, taking into account his interests and goals.
Within each Track, various elective courses are provided, as well as the possibility of choosing disciplines from the university-wide pool. In addition, there is an opportunity to fulfill your interests through project work and hackathons. All this allows you to create a personal learning path, taking into account your preferences and aspirations.
Track "IT & IP Law"
This Track is the successor to the pre-existing IP / IT Law Program, which was created under the leadership of Doctor of Law, Prof. Irina Yurievna Bogdanovskaya and highly recommended herself both in the academic environment and among employers.

Track "Digital Platforms Law"
This is a new track dedicated to the regulation of digital platforms (marketplaces, aggregators, new media, social networks, Fintech services, government platforms). Within its framework we will consider legal issues as well as the technical aspects of the functioning of the platforms, and their business models.
In this case, the core of the program consists of disciplines focused on the practice of working within the digital platforms themselves, or on interacting with them as a counterparty or consumer.
