Partners

 

CFA Association (Russia) is a non-profit organization representing the interests of CFA Charterholders and CFA candidates based in Russia and the CIS. It was founded in 2004 and is a member society of the CFA Institute. In 2012, CFA Russia was recognized as the ‘Most Outstanding CFA’ society worldwide in its size category. In 2015, CFA Association Russia was recognized as the ‘Most Innovative CFA Society’ out of 146 CFA societies in 71 countries.

 

The Banking Institute of HSE is the official partner of the CFA Association Russia. This partner status grants us ample opportunities to get HSE students involved in different activities of the Association, including participation in the CFA Institute Research Challenge. Furthermore, it gives them a unique advantage to get acquainted with professionals from the financial market.

 

Furthermore, CFA Association Russia members, including its board members, actively take part in academic events and activities at the Banking Institute of HSE (e.g., as guest speakers).

 



The University of Siena is one of the oldest universities in Italy. It was founded by the commune government in the early 13th century. Today, the University consists of nine schools: the School of Economics, the School of Engineering, the School of Humanities and Philosophy, the School of Humanities and Philosophy – Arezzo, the School of Jurisprudence, the School of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences, the School of Medicine and Surgery, the School of Pharmacy and the School of Political Sciences.
The University of Siena and HSE Banking Institute have been conducting joint research for a long time, making publications on risk management, implementing an academic mobility program, exchanging students and teachers. Professors of the University of Siena traditionally perform at the April HSE conference.

University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna
Students and teachers were exchanged with the University of Vienna, and master's weeks were repeatedly held in the city of Vienna, where HSE was represented by masters of the Banking Institute. Master's weeks were also held in Cologne and Katowice. Our students have repeatedly made the best projects among representatives of Austria, Germany, Poland, Finland, Great Britain and Hong Kong.

 

University of Economics in Katowice
Within the framework of cooperation with Katowice, the Erasmus exchange program for students, teachers and staff of the Dean's Office operated. Projects in Poland were dedicated to Sustainable Development and marketing organization. In their free time from projects, students visited the salt and silver mines.

 
CFA Institute (USA) is the largest association of investment professionals in the world. It works in partnership with a limited number of globally diverse, select institutions whose degree programmes cover a significant portion of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge™, including ethical and professional standards. These universities are recognized leaders and serve as role models for other institutions. In 2009, the MBA in Investment Management offered by the Banking Institute of HSE was recognized by the CFA Institute as a CFA Institute University Affiliation Program. In 2012, another programme provided by the Banking Institute (MA Financial Analyst) was awarded CFA Program Partner status. 
In 2020, the Master's program "Finance" received the status CFA Institute University Affiliation Program. This is the first online Master's program of the Banking Institute, implemented in English on the Smart LMS platform.
 
One of the CFA Program Partner benefits are scholarships awarded to students of partner programmes that cover approximately 75% of the CFA Exam registration fee (Levels I, II, and III).

University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna (Austria) is one of the leading universities specializing in applied sciences in Austria. At FH BFI Vienna, academic education is combined with practical training. Furthermore, international cooperation has always been one of the university’s main targets. FH BFI Vienna has established a network with more than 80 partner universities in 32 countries.
 
FH BFI Vienna and the Banking Institute of HSE have signed a student exchange agreement that provides an opportunity for students to study for a semester in Vienna. Furthermore, the partnership, in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, offers plenty of mobility opportunities for both students and academic staff, whether in regards to academic study or research work.
 
FH BFI Vienna takes particular interest and care in facilitating international experience. As such, students are offered short-term mobility options as well. Students also can exchange ideas and gain international experience when they meet with other students from different European countries as part of the university’s ‘International Weeks’ programmes. Master’s students from the Banking Institute of HSE annually take part in the International Master Course Week 'Educating for Global Competence'.
 
University of Economics in Katowice (Poland) was founded in 1937 and is the biggest and oldest business school in the region, as well as one of the top universities in Poland. Every year, over 11,000 Polish and international students take part in its degree programmes at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, doctoral and post-diploma levels at five faculties: Business, Finance and Administration, Economics, Finance and Insurance, Informatics and Communication, and Management.
 
The Banking Institute works in partnership with the University of Economics in Katowice under the Erasmus+ Programme. Thanks to this mobility project, our students, scholars, and staff are able to gain greater international exposure and enhance individual global education and administrative initiatives, as well as take them in promising new directions.
 
Wroclaw University of Economics (Poland) is ranked among the top economic schools in Poland, as well as a leading centre of science and research. Its activities are aimed at maintaining and strengthening its position at the regional, national and international levels, as well as improving its competitive advantage. Furthermore, the university is eager to cultivate its image as a modern institution, which is open and friendly to its employees, students, and the environment. WUE is fully capable of providing in-depth academic training in areas such as economic and management sciences.
 
The exchange of academic staff and students is carried out under the Erasmus and Leonardo da Vinci programmes. WUE is a party to 115 Erasmus bilateral agreements and around 60 general agreements of cooperation with various foreign partners.
 
The WUE and Banking Institute of HSE have established a student exchange partnership, including a mobility project in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, which provides an opportunity for students to study for a semester in Wroclaw.
