Master’s Programme 'Public Administration'

This programme trains graduates for work in federal state agencies, local government, state and municipal institutions, public sector entities, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and various analytical structures. A distinctive feature of the programme is that it recruits public administration practitioners to teach, which allows students to develop modern practices of public administration in Russia along with fundamental theoretical knowledge.

On March 28-29th, the Gender and Governance International Conference, jointly organized by the Aleksanteri Institute (University of Helsinki) and the Research group 'Comparative Study of the Situation of Women and Men in Public Authorities' from the Faculty of Social Sciences of Higher School of Economics (Moscow), was held in Helsinki. Members and Heads of the HSE study group and researchers and professors from the University of Helsinki presented their reports at the event.

Dean of DeCAn laboratory Professor F. Aleskerov with our faculty have visited The University of Tromsø - The Arctic University of Norway from September 10 to September 17 for a joint work with UiT on the project "High North Economics: Learning how economists work and think in Russia and Norway using theoretical models and laboratory experiments".
