Participation in conferences

  •     37th International Conference “Information technologies in science, education, telecommunications and business”, Ukraine, Hurzuf, May 2010, talk on “Optimization problems for criteria importance theory”
  •     37th International Conference “Information technologies in science, education, telecommunications and business”, Ukraine, Hurzuf, October 2010, talk on “Multicriteria decision rules in cases, when interval information on the criteria importance or their scales is provided” (in collaboration with A.P. Nelyubin)
  •     6th Moscow International  Conference on Operations Research, Moscow, Computing Center of RAS (CC of RAS), October 2010, talk on “The optimization problems of criteria importance theory”

2010 research results

  • Formulation of an optimization problem which arises when methods for multi-criteria choice of the criteria importance theory are used, and examination of its characteristics
  • Development, implementation and experimental testing of an accurate and effective method (and it’s round-off error free version) for solving the bilinear programming problem of alternatives comparison by preference in cases when interval information on the criteria importance and the scale estimations utility is provided
  • Research into the Analytic Hierarchy Process which shows that the AHP is inaccurate in the context of measure theory

Current research

  • Investigating the relationship between criteria importance theory and the theory of additive utility functions
  • Developing an analytical decision rule for problems where the criteria are ordered by importance with the scale of the first ordinal metric
  • Developing a method and an algorithm for “assigning chains” construction in problems where the criteria are ordered by importance with the scale of the first ordinal metric
