The School of Interdisciplinary Research in Cognitive and Social Sciences (IRCSS) will be held from 25-27 September 2024 in Saint Petersburg.

From July 2 to July 3, 2024, the International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration for the first time held a summer school for the training and development of specialists in the field of public administration in the context of digital transformation at the Training Center for Leadership Training (Kochubey Center) Higher School of Economics – St. Petersburg. The summer school was devoted to interdisciplinary aspects of studying the problems of digital transformation in public administration. The selected students successfully completed the classes and received certificates.

On 13 June, the results of the VII season of the All-Russian Student Olympiad «‎I am a Professional» organized by the association of the same name were summed up. The winners included the staff of the ILSIR: research assistants Natalia Bulchenko and Arsenii Buchatskii. We talked to Natalia and Arsenii and found out their impressions and secrets of successful participation.

On 13-14 May, the first in-person intensive of the HSE Predoc Programme for Preparation for PhD in Social Sciences and Humanities was held at the HSE St. Petersburg campus. Arsenii Buchatskii, a research assistant of our Laboratory and a student of the Joint «‎Master's-PhD» Study Track, was one of the 21 participants of the intensive, selected among 36 candidates, and shared his impressions of the school.

The Summer School, organized by the Laboratory for Social and Cognitive Informatics and the Department of Informatics at HSE University in St. Petersburg, will take place from July 1 to July 7, 2024.

The student received the highest score during the interview dedicated to her future specialty, demonstrating the full readiness for scientific work as a graduate student. In total with the portfolio, her final scores are the best among all applicants in this field.

On February 8th, Science Day in Russia, which this year also marked the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the 190th birthday of the great Russian scientist Dmitry Ivanovich Mendeleev, IDLab at HSE University in Perm actively participated in the “Scientists to Schools” campaign.

The IL SIR team took part in the presentation of the master’s program “Sociology of the Public Sphere and Digital Analytics” at the Winter School of the HSE Faculty of Social Sciences in Sociology 2024.

The annual student school-conference “Information technologies and systems. Bioinformatics" ITIS(b), which was attended by more than 100 people from HSE, IITP RAS, Skoltech, Moscow State University, MIPT.
