In early October, members of the Linguistic Convergence Laboratory published a paper in Language . Language is the flagship journal of the Linguistic Society of America and one of the most respected general linguistics journals in the world; perhaps the most prestigious one. Since the journal’s launch in 1925, it has seen the publication of only two papers whose first author is a researcher affiliated with a Russian university or institute.

On Friday, October 15, School-Seminar "Current State and Perspectives of Atomistic and Multi-Scale Computer Modeling for Fundamental Science and Technology" was held at MIEM.

In September-October 2021, a research group from the Center for Language and Brain (Olga Parshina, Olga Dragoy, Nina Zdorova and Anastasia Kromina) collected reading data in children in the capital of the Republic of Adygea, Maykop. 

On October 11, 2021, the staff of the Center held an open seminar in Naberezhnye Chelny on "Neuronal foundations of speech disorders and the development of neuro-linguistic tests". The event was organized within the framework of a scientific agreement with Kazan Federal University.

The International Laboratory for Social Integration Research concluded September with another seminar. Maria Pridatchenko presented her report "Models of institutionalization of family education".

On October 6, 2021, Olga Evgenievna Verbilovich defended her dissertation on the topic: "Disability category in the public sphere", submitted for the degree of candidate of sociological sciences

On participation in conferences

А regular seminar of the International Laboratory for Social Integration Research was held On September 25. Maria Kournikova spoke on the topic "An Integrative Model of Physical Activity of a Disabled Child as a Resource of Social Well-being of His Family."

On September 16, 2021, we lost Alexandra Vydrina, a gifted scholar, a dedicated Africanist, a remarkable personality and a friend.
