Course Syllabus
Abstract
Within the course students form a complex representation of the current state of the theory and practice of innovation management and the specificity of implementation of innovations in Russia.
The course enables students to acquire competences in management and evaluation of innovative projects, planning the strategy of intellectual property rights commercialization and project preparation for venture investments.
Learning Objectives
- Consideration of the specificity of investing in innovative sphere
- Comprehensive analysis of main aspects of innovative project management
- Systematization of indicators for innovative projects evaluation, including analysis of innovative projects’ impact in company’s value
- Knowledge of main forms of innovative projects financing
- Review of crucial directions of project analysis by venture investors
- Identification of key parameters of innovative strategy assessment
Expected Learning Outcomes
- Plan the strategy of intellectual property commercialization
- Analyze the innovative strategy of the company
- Substantiate the investment attractiveness of innovative projects for different types of investors
- Prepare the innovative project for the procedure of due diligence
- Optimize the key value drivers while evaluating the effectiveness of innovative project
- Make the investment decisions, aimed on optimization the implementation of innovative project
