Course Syllabus

Abstract

The discipline “International practices of startups expansion and venture investment" is aimed at providing students with knowledge and skills to understand the process of creating innovations and new technologies. In this course, students will analyze and evaluate the impact of government, science, and business on the promotion and development of new technologies. Students will analyse Startup’ barriers such us funding gaps, market fit issues, team building, lack of skills, and intense competition. The course is practice-oriented and includes experimental exercises and projects. The course emphasizes why and how things work (reasoning, critical thinking, proving concepts) rather than just what the numerical answer is, focusing on structured arguments, qualitative analysis. The learning model combines lectures with group discussions, individual assignments, case studies and presentations.
