Course Syllabus
Abstract
International Financial Management is an extension of domestic financial management where significant focus is on the exchange rates, strategic decisions on the international markets, cost of capital and project finance decisions. Part of the course is devoted to the international banking management.
Learning Objectives
- To gain skills for assessing how: 1) exchange rates are affected by risks and foreign markets, 2) company enters international markets, 3) company undertakes decisions on project finance and operational funding, 4) Banks are operating on international markets
Expected Learning Outcomes
- Able to assess interest rates
- Able to assess exchange rates
- Able to assess cost of capital and effectiveness of project finance
- Able build strategy for entering international markets
- Able to assess main indicators of banking activities
