Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course offers students contemporary approaches and tools of management consulting, educational business cases, simulation business games, and practical work with operating companies. Students will become familiar with the structure and evolution of the management consulting market, as well as consultant roles and behavioral models; learn to apply key strategic frameworks and to build a communicational process to diagnose managerial problems and identify growth opportunities and strategic development directions for companies; master the development of managerial solutions based on data analysis. Students will gain initial hands-on experience in delivering a comprehensive consulting project – from problem framing to solution presentation – using teaching cases and simulation business games. The final outcome of the course will be the delivery of a group consulting project for operating companies.
