Abstract
This research seminar provides an immersive interdisciplinary exploration of the Russian Federation's vast ethnocultural landscape. Designed for Master's students, it shifts the focus from a homogenous view of Russia to a rich tapestry of nine distinct macro-regions. Students will explore how geographic environments, historical turning points, religious pathways, and both material and spiritual heritage shape the modern communicative codes, values, and mindsets of Russia's diverse peoples. The course bridges cultural anthropology, area studies, and intercultural communication to prepare students for effective interaction in a polycultural reality.
The seminar is for students of the major "Intercultural Communication in a Global Information Space."
