Аннотация

Intellectual property rights (IPR) are a means of protecting the use of inventions, technologies and knowledge by the party holding such right. Increasingly, companies as well as research institutions such as universities and public research institutions are asking what knowledge and inventions can be protected from use by others. There is also a question of how to value intellectual property and how to determine the contribution of intellectual property to the economic value of goods that can be traded. The course provides an introduction to intellectual property management through intellectual property rights. The different types of intellectual property rights are discussed in the context of the strategic activities of the company, i.e. from the perspective of intellectual property as a strategic weapon for the owner and the owner of the intellectual property.
