Аннотация

The basis is focused on management principles in international supply chains and contains of four main topics: the ABC of logistics and supply chain management; management and operations in international supply chains; international trade and transport operations ;global supply chains in turbulent environment

Цель освоения дисциплины

• Knowing the main management ideas and operation instruments in international supply chains
• Knowing the practices of trade and transport operations in international supply chains

• Explains the legal nature of Incoterms, recognizes its most common terms and explains their purpose
• Identifies key business processes in supply chains
• Knows and correctly uses the main terms used in supply chain management
• Knows the roles of partners in the international supply chain and the relationships between them.
• Understands the CODP location principle in the SCM.
• Knows the main steps while entering foreign markets
• Knows the main payment methods in international trade

• Presentation at the seminar
  The student chooses a topic from the list and makes a presentation that is discussed at the seminar . Group presentations are possible (in groups not more than three students)
• Interim test
  The student gets 10 closed questions to answer within 30 minutes
• Final exam
  The student gets the list of 30 closed questions to be answered in 80 minutes
• Attendance

  0.25 * Presentation at the seminar + 0.25 * Interim test + 0.1 * Attendance + 0.4 * Final exam
