Course Syllabus
Abstract
The discipline forms competencies in the field of selecting and implementing software solutions for effective project management. Students will get acquainted with the classification of systems, study their strengths and weaknesses, as well as selection criteria.
Learning Objectives
- The purpose of mastering the discipline is to provide students with a systematic understanding of the role of software products in project management and to develop practical skills in using digital tools for project planning, implementation, monitoring and analysis.
Expected Learning Outcomes
- Analyzes the role of project management in the organization's activities.
- Evaluates the state and structure of the corporate project management system.
- Develops a project office model and defines its functions.
- Forms a portfolio and a program of projects in accordance with the strategic goals of the organization.
- Analyzes the results of project activities and develops proposals for the development of the corporate project management system.
- Uses information systems to plan, organize, and monitor project activities.

- Section 2. Corporate Project Management System.
- Section 3. Project office as an element of the corporate project management system.
- Section 4. Organization of program and project portfolio management in the corporate project management system.
- Section 5. Information systems for project management support.
- Section 6. Analysis and development of the corporate project management system.

- Independent workIndividual and group assignments, case analysis, and participation in the discussion of practical situations in seminars.
- Practical workPerforming practical homework using modern project management information systems and protecting the results obtained.
