Abstract
This online course explores key issues and recent discussions within the field of regenerative management and organizational sustainability, through theoretical and practical perspectives. Students will learn cutting-edge frameworks and tools for understanding how organizations can move beyond conventional corporate sustainability toward truly regenerative models — restoring ecosystems, strengthening communities, and creating shared value — while navigating the complexities of an increasingly multipolar world.
Spanning strategy, communication, evolving geopolitical dynamics, and governance across diverse regulatory landscapes, the course grapples with critical issues such as ecological restoration, social equity, climate resilience, and ethical leadership in contexts where competing global powers shape the rules of business. It balances incisive critique of existing paradigms with actionable pathways for regenerative transformation.
The course, supported by case studies, guest speakers, and experiential learning projects, equips students to design and lead organizations that thrive amid geopolitical complexity while contributing positively to planetary and social well-being. As a student-centered discipline designed with the application of the most innovative pedagogies, the course focuses on creating a rich experience through action, reflection, and learning — aiming to develop a new generation of regenerative leaders with a holistic mindset.
The course rests on a multi-disciplinary approach and requires profound ecological awareness, the development of systems thinking (knowing), combined with emotional (feeling) and spiritual (being) intelligence — competencies essential for stewarding organizations that regenerate rather than deplete in a world defined by shifting centers of power.
