Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course gives students the knowledge necessary for the implementation of the project in commercial and non-profit sector. The aim of the course is to develop skills in the field of project management. Each project must be limited in time, have clear criteria for the outcomes (given the characteristics of the product obtained), assume an external or internal request. The course will give an overview of what corporate investment decisions involve. It will provide tools and techniques for an investment projects appraisal as well as for managing portfolios of investment projects.

  • To build knowledge about agile approach and its popular framework scrum to project management and develop team-building skills for working in demanding environments
  • To develop an understanding of the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of the investments decisions made by the financial managers of a corporation
  • To study methods of investment projects efficiency, to receive investment analysis skills required in developing company's strategy
