Abstract

"This course focusses on the workings of an economy taken as a whole as an interdependent system of interaction between multiple agents. It thus seeks to develop a theoretical understanding of the macro economy and of how this impacts the business environment in which individual companies operate daily. Attention is also paid to measurement of macroeconomic phenomena and to the role of government policy making in influencing key macroeconomic variables.
