Course Syllabus
Abstract
This course is given in the form of seminars covering principal innovation and entrepreneurship activities in global markets. The course is closely linked to the thesis topics of the students and will help them identify core modern technologies and innovations which may contribute to their thesis project. The scope of technologies and activities will be mostly concentrated on digital technologies, their impact on business, education and society.

- To learn trends in modern technology and business innovations currently on the agenda
- To learn what is a technological singularity and how does it affect society, business and everyday life
- To learn advantages and challenges of modern technology
- To learn potential applications of new technological breakthroughs by thesis topics
- To learn potential applications of new technological breakthroughs by thesis topics
- To learn new technology backed entrepreneurship value chains and product hypotheses
- To get command of use of selected modern technologies in course work itself (essays, presentations etc)
- To get command of information search and cross-analysis using different sources – research publication and patent databases, business information databases and open media sources.
