Course Syllabus
Abstract
The course is optional and aimed at helping A2-B1 students majoring in Data Science and
Business Analytics to develop their grammatical competence, allowing them to use English
grammar effectively in speaking and writing. That involves revising basic grammar, learning
new grammar rules and constructions, practising them in drills and communicative
activities both in the classroom and at home. Students’ progress through the course is
continuously assessed during classroom activities, upon the completion of homework
assignments, by means of progress tests, an interim examination in module 2 and a final
test in module 4.
