Course Syllabus
Abstract
Linear algebra might be the first course you encounter that raises the level of abstractness quite high. In the seminars there appears the need to focus simultaneously on 1) exercises aimed at better understanding the definitions; 2) exercises on basic algorithms from the course and 3) harder problems aimed at increasing the level of mathematical independence (being able to prove simple statements yourself, being able to solve problems without being directed which particular method is to be used).
This course will attempt to complement the main LAaG course by focusing on parts 1) and 2) with even more detail, so that it is possible to catch up, if there is some problem with understanding the main course.
