Course Syllabus
Abstract
The objectives of mastering the discipline "Leadership and Team Management" are ∙ mastering the knowledge of the psychological aspects of the structure and functioning of the team; ∙ mastering the skills of analysing the structure of the group, the power structure in the group, the communicative processes in the group; ∙ mastering the skills of managing the team as a system and subsystem of the organisation.
Learning Objectives
- • formation of a complex of knowledge and professional skills for managing the behavior of people in the organization;
- mastering techniques for assessing the internal state of a company from the point of view of human potential and developing one’s own recommendations for adjusting employee behavior;
- formation of an idea of effective methods of influence of a manager on staff and skills in applying these methods in the practice of organizational activities;
- • understanding the basics of group dynamics, employee psychology and their professional behavior, specific to business informatics;
- • development of professional competencies related to the effective construction of group work and communication in a professional context in the field of business informatics;
- • obtaining practical skills in applying methods for diagnosing and managing group dynamics in group and team types of professional interaction
Expected Learning Outcomes
- Knows the essence of leadership and ways to determine the necessary leadership style for the development of a company, factors influencing the behavior of individuals, groups, organizations;
- Possesses tools of leadership behavior, targeted interpersonal, social and group interaction.
- Understand, interpret and predict the behavior of individuals, implementation groups and teams, choose the optimal methods of communication, interaction and management influence
- Plan developmental activities aimed at increasing the consistency and cohesion of team and group actions.
- Possess techniques for regulating socio-psychological processes in groups and teams, resolving conflict relationships.
- Possess the tools of leadership behavior, targeted interpersonal and social and group interaction.
