Preliminary Thesis Version Submission
Dear Students,
You need to submit the preliminary thesis version to your thesis supervisor by uploading the document to the SmartLMS.
Deadline for submission: April 13 (23:59)
- The curriculum element “Preparation of the Graduate Thesis” is part of the main educational programme and is assessed separately and before uploading the final thesis version.
- Assessment is carried out in accordance with the general criteria for assessing the Master’s thesis (available in the Practice Program, p. 11-12) by the thesis supervisor.
- The thesis supervisor may conduct a pre-defense with their students if they deem it necessary.
- The “pass” mark for the "Preparation of the Graduate Thesis" assessment will be reflected in the diploma.
- Assessment form: pass/fail.
- The thesis is subject to mandatory plagiarism and originality checks upon upload. Note that when checking the Preliminary Version of the Thesis for plagiarism and originality, the text of the work will not be uploaded to the Antiplagiat system database, so there will be no issues with the originality percentage when uploading the final thesis version.
- Receiving a "pass" affects admission to the thesis defence.
- A student who did not receive a "pass" during the main deadline has the right to retake on the established dates.

- Before submitting to SmartLMS, you can send your thesis paper for preliminary Antiplagiat verification using the «Plagiarism Check in Antiplagiat System» service in SmartPoint (ЕЛК/ELK).
- Carefully check that you are uploading the correct and final file — you will have only one upload attempt!
