HSE Representatives Participated in an International Conference at Jaypee Business School in India

The Fifth International Conference on Information Technology and Quantitative Management (ITQM 2017) took place from December 8 to 10, 2017, in New Delhi NCR, India. The event was jointly organized by the International Academy of Information Technology and Quantitative Management (IAITQM) and Jaypee Business School (JBS), India.

2 nd Year MSc Students of Big Data Systems Successfully Completed 6 th DAAAM International Doctoral School

2nd Year MSc Students of Big Data Systems, Alexander Suleykin and Yash Madhwal, successfully completed 6th DAAAM International Doctoral School week, which was held in Zadar, Croatia from 5th November 2017 till 12th November 2017.  Under guidance of Dr. Peter B. Panfilov, they successfully presented and defended their research paper at 28th DAAAM International Symposium.

Erasmus + Mobility Experience: Big Data Systems (HSE) and EURECOM Sophia Antipolis Partnerships

The students of Big Data Systems master’s programme have good opportunity to participate in different exchange programs with international partner universities. One of the programme lead partners is EURECOM Sophia Antipolis (France, Nice) which embraces our students every year. Starting from 2015/16 academic year the cooperation between HSE (Big Data Systems master’s programme) and EURECOM Sophia Antipolis was supported by Erasmus + Mobility Program.

The first graduation ceremony for the double-degree Master’s programme in Big Data Systems and Information Systems Management took place one year ago. We met our first graduates, Sebastian Kollmann and Daniela Sefzig, for an interview. They talked to us about how they spent this year.

On December 2nd  Russian-French workshop “Big data and solutions based on it” took place in Higher School of Economics (HSE) National Research University and had over 50 participants from leading universities and companies  from all over Russian Federation and France. The workshop was held by HSE School of Business Informatics with the support of French Embassy.

Prof. Vladimir A. Fomichov successfully organized the Fourth International Conference on Cognitonics in Slovenia

Prof. Vladimir A. Fomichov organized and co-chaired the 4th International Conference on Cognitonics (Cognit-2015) that was held in Slovenia, Ljubljana, on October 12-13, 2015. Cognitonics (or the Science about the Human Being in the Digital World) is a new scientific discipline that was born in Russia. The term ‘cognitonics’ was introduced by Vladimir A. Fomichov and Olga S. Fomichova in an article published in 2004 in Canada.
