Academic Contest 'Foreign Languages and Cross-Cultural Communication'

Traditionally, in February, each HSE campus holds various academic competitions for students of undergraduate and graduate programs. The Department of Foreign Languages got into the act and on February, 14 conducted the Academic Contest 'Foreign Languages and Cross-Cultural Communication' for 150 potential Master’s applicants.

On February, 14, more than 150 Master’s applicants of different age and academic backgrounds convened to participate in the contest.

The Results of the French, English, and German sections of the contest will reveal who would be offered special benefits for admission to the department’s Master’s program. Since the admission requirements of the program were the highest in 2015 on the university scale, the impressive number of participants this year may stem from the fact that the contest facilitates the admission.

To make the contest possible, the department involved the Master’s candidates, who were rigidly instructed and ensured observation of the rules during every stage of the contest.

Currently, our experts are rating the works, and the results are due in April. We are looking forward to seeing the winners among our students next year!
