Student mobility

Student mobility
International academic mobility at the HSE is divided into two types:
Short-term programs
Short-term programs include Winter/Summer Schools, seminars, conferences, exchange educational programs and research projects.
The student is engaged in Short-term programs independently, the GSB or the HSE Office of Internationalization publishes information from partners only for notification purposes. Students have the right to choose from one to three partner institutions in which they would like to study and place them on a priority basis.
Short-term programs are mainly financially supported at the university level.
Long-term Programs
Long-term programs can last for 1 year or for a semester.
To participate in an exchange/double-degree diploma program, it is required to prepare an individual student's curriculum. Regardless of the level of program implementation (either faculty or general university), the student's individual study plan is compiled by the manager of the study office; in the case of a university program, it is based on information provided by the student about the courses taken.
Funding
Students participating in international academic mobility programs under HSE partner agreements with foreign universities are exempt from tuition fees. Long-term programs under partnership agreements with HSE are funded by providing a quota place for participation in the program. However, students must pay for the shipment of original documents (if required by the host institution), language certificates, visa costs, insurance, transportation costs, accommodation, and meals.
HSE does not provide students with additional funding for international academic mobility programs.
GSB International Academic Programs
At the Graduate School of Business the organization of long-term mobility of students is conducted by the GSB International Office. Students have the opportunity to participate in exchange programs with more than 100 partner universities and business schools, as well as in 22 double degree programs.
