The Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools (AAPBS) is the first association of business schools in the region to welcome HSE University as a member. The non-profit organisation was established in 2001 and aims to improve the quality of education in business and management in the Asia-Pacific region. For the HSE Graduate School of Business, joining the association is an important part of its international partnership strategy.

AAPBS includes over 150 leading universities and business schools in Australia, Vietnam, China, India, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, the USA, and Japan, as well countries in Europe and Latin America. AAPBS affiliate members include such leading business education associations as EFMD, AACSB, and AMBA.

The association implements its mission by organising collaboration in research and teaching, as well as working in partnership to improve the standards and quality of business schools.

‘Membership in AAPBS is not only an opportunity to expand our partner network in the Asia-Pacific region,’ said Ivan Prostakov, First Deputy Director at the HSE Graduate School of Business ‘It also provides access to unique information resources in business education, to the association’s case centre, participation in working groups, conferences and workshops on the most pressing topics, as well as special programmes such as TOOL KIT, which is devoted to doing business in Asia and is open to students of member organisations.’

In November 2023, the HSE Graduate School of Business will participate in the annual AAPBS assembly.

More information about the association is available on its website.
