Sergio Terrón, 27, from Alicante, Spain, is a first-year student of the Master's programme in Socioeconomic and Political Development of Modern Asia at the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of HSE University in Moscow. His main research interest is bilateral relations between China and Spain. What do students need to succeed in their studies at HSE? What does Moscow have to offer to international students? Lyceum Classes with Support from HSE: School Students from Uzbekistan Visit HSE University

HSE University has welcomed students of the International House Tashkent Academic Lyceum at TIIAME National Research University, Uzbekistan. The students are participants in the educational project 'Lyceum Classes with Support from HSE,' initiated by the International Admissions Office and implemented since 2022 in collaboration with faculties of HSE University and foreign educational institutions.

Tajrin Rahman Tisha, 25, from Brahmanbaria, Bangladesh, is completing her Preparatory Year Programme. She is a graduate of the Development Studies bachelor’s programme at the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) and in September 2024 she will pursue her master's studies in Politics, Economics, Philosophy at the HSE University Faculty of Social Sciences. HSE University Launches New Master’s Degree Track ‘Plant Biotechnology’

The new track will be launched in September 2024 in the Master's Programme ‘Cell and Molecular Biotechnology’ at theHSE Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology. Students will master modern methods of plant genetic and cellular engineering, genetic and marker selection, genome editing, proteomics, phenomics, and acquire skills in the bioinformatic processing of plant genomic data. The educational trajectory will be implemented in collaboration with the All-Russia Research Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology.

Study Tour Experience for International Master's Applicants: Immerse in HSE University Student Life

The Study Tour Experience is a unique project for those who want to experience HSE student life and upgrade their CVs. The international training internship by the HSE International Admissions Office has been functioning since 2020 in two formats (offline and online) and in two languages—Russian and English. In the fall semester of the 2024/25 academic year, the Study Tour Experience is planned for November 11–23, 2024.
