HSE International Week in Saint Petersburg was a great success. This first-time event was taking place on February 10-14, 2014. The international students were meeting with the University’s best lecturers and researchers and visiting the city’s attractions.
The HSE is accepting applications to the International Master’s Programme in Comparative Social Research. The programme was developed by the Laboratory of Comparative Social Research in collaboration with the Faculty of Sociology. Eduard Ponarin, Director of the LCSR, shared his views on preparing modern analysts, and in which areas of global economy they could apply their skills and knowledge.
The students from nine countries took part in the HSE International Winter School. In addition to various student presentations, lectures, and consultations by experts, the school programme also included role-playing games.
On February 10-14, 2014, HSE International Week will take place at the HSE in Saint Petersburg for the first time. Seventeen students from more than 10 countries, including Norway, Austria, Finland, China, Great Britain, and Germany, have applied to participate in the event.

The HSE Faculty of Sociology and the Laboratory of Comparative Social Research are delighted to announce the opening of the International Master’s Programme in Comparative Social Research, which is geared toward ambitious students wanting to build careers as sociologists in academia and research institutions.
The partnership between the HSE and ESCP Europe has been developing since 2005. The joint English-language programme Master in European Business was launched in 2013. The programme is aimed at providing a professional education to the future top managers of large international companies.
