Iron Egg to Be Awarded on December 11th

On December 11th the annual student award ceremony Iron Egg, which recognizes the best student projects and achievements in extracurricular areas, will be held at HSE.

The Iron Egg was established by HSE students in 2004 similarly to the Golden HSE award. The prize is conferred for the best student projects in areas not connected with academic studies.

The winners are determined in two rounds. First the ‘Areopagus’ that includes representatives from HSE student organizations chooses three best projects in each category. This year the Areopagus submitted 16 nominees out of 66 projects presented to the jury. There are five categories:

Special project of the year
Best buddies 
Charity Project ‘Otkroi Glaza’ (Open your eyes)

Spring Ball of the Faculty of Economic Sciences
HSE RUN
Miss HSE 2015

Achievement of the year
HSE KVN Team
HSE Battle of Businesses
HSE Football Team — Official Public

The winner will be determined during the second round via online voting, in which all HSE students can take part. This year the voting will start on December 4th.

The ceremony will be held on December 11th in the Sunlight Studio Hall (12 Electrozavodskaya Ulitsa) at 8 pm.
