Responsibilities
Academic Director of the Doctoral school is eligible to:
- organize activities for the implementation of the decisions of the Academic Council of the Doctoral school;
- coordinate preparation of individual plans of doctoral students;
- approve foreign internship programs for doctoral students;
- interact with the heads and faculty of the HSE departments on the issues related to the implementation of the postgraduate study program in the relevant field of study;
- initiate proposals on the development strategy of the Doctoral school for consideration of the Academic Council;
- develop the curriculun for the Doctoral program in accordance with the procedure established by the HSE;
- develop and submit to the coordinating vice-rector the programs of entrance examinations and qualification examinations;
- make decisions on the appointment of special scholarships to doctoral students based on the results of a competitive selection.
The academic director of the Doctoral school is responsible for the creation and implementation of doctoral study programs in the relevant field of study, the organization of the activities of the Doctoral school, the effectiveness of Doctoral students development and training, the compliance of the results demonstrated by the graduates of the Doctoral program with the results planned in the educational standard of the postgraduate study in the relevant field of study.
