Welcome Aboard: Post-Doc Introductions

Every year, HSE hires post-doctoral researchers from all over the world. And in 2017-18, more than 30 of them started work at laboratories and research centres in a large range of fields and specializations. The HSE Lookis pleased to introduce this year’s international researchers, so that you can learn more about your colleagues and find out about opportunities for potential collaboration.

New Voices: Research Projects and Ideas

In 2015 HSE laboratories and centres chose 24 scholars as post-doctoral fellows in the fields of philosophy, history, data analysis, finance, and cognitive studies. University bulletin HSE Look introduces these researchers as well as the teams with which they are now working.

Brain Research and Blockchain Technologies Discussed at Perm Workshop on Applied Economic Modeling

How does the brain work? How does neuroeconomics use the study of brain activity? How can MRI help rehabilitation after a blood stroke? Are blockchain and bitcoin the biggest innovations in finance in the last decade? And what are the prospects for their development? These and some other questions were discussed at the Perm Workshop on Applied Economic Modeling, and open city workshop in December.
