On Sunday, May 3 the scientific seminar of the International Centre of Decision Choice and Analysis was held. A. Ivanov gave a lecture on "Manipulability indices and their calculation for collective decision rules".

On April 30 Trifonova Anastasia Valentinovna (Research Assistant, CSCR, HSE) took part in the "Culture matters" research seminar with the report "Representations of Russians about typical and ideal Russian".

Due to worldwide spread of the COVID-19, the Associated Event of the XXI April conference: VII International Scientific Conference “Culture in Society, Between Groups and Across Generations” was held on April, 23-24 in an online form on the Microsoft Teams.

On Wednesday, April 15 the all-Russian seminar "Mathematical methods of decision analysis in economics, finance and politics" was held. G. Roizenzon gave a lecture on "Intelligent methods of risk analysis"

The OECD Committee for Scientific and Technological Policy (STP) held its first meeting of the year in early April. HSE staff members Mikhail Gershman, Dirk Meissner and Elena Sabelnikova joined Ministry of Education and Science representatives as members of the Russian delegation to the event. On April 7th 2020 graduate student of mathematical faculty and research-intern of the Laboratory of Algebraic Geometry Konstantin Loginov successfully defended his Thesis for a degree of Candidate of Science (Ph.D.)

On March 4, 2020, in the Durasov’s house in the building on Pokrovsky Boulevard, an award ceremony for the winners of the HSE student research competition - 2019 was held, where Ekaterina Melianova and Kirill Lesnykh, students of the master's programme "Applied Statistics with Network Analysis", were awarded.

On Wednesday, March 4 the all-Russian seminar "Mathematical methods of decision analysis in economics, finance and politics" was held. D. Sokolov gave a lecture on "Shapley Value for TU-Games with Multiple Membership and Externalities".
