On January 31, as part of the scientific seminar “Culture Matters,” Dmitry Grigoriev (Ph.D., researcher at the Center for Sociocultural Research, Higher School of Economics) and Albina Gallyamova (intern-researcher at the Center for Sociocultural Research, Higher School of Economics) gave a presentation on the topic: "Ecocultural psychology".

In December, ANR-Lab Head Daria Maltseva visited the Center for Methodology and Social Informatics of the University of Ljubljana, where she met with the laboratory supervisors, exchanged experience with foreign colleagues, and also agreed on future cooperation in the field of scientific and educational activities.
On January 11 Julia Belova (PhD in Sociology, Leading Research Fellow, Institute of Applied Political Research, Laboratory for Political Research, National Research University Higher School of Economics) took part in the "Culture matters" research seminar with the report "Alcoholism of local residents in the perception of young people in the Pskov region: stigmatization, place identity and migration attitudes".
Congratulations to the research assistant of ANR-Lab and 4th year student Vasilisa Vashchenko on winning the NIRS competition. Vasilisa took 2d place in the category of sociology and became a laureate in the category of integrated communications.
On December 20 Nadezhda Murashchenkova (Ph.D. in Psychology, Research Fellow, Center for Sociocultural Research, HSE University) took part in the "Culture matters" research seminar with the report "Representations of patriotism and national identity of Russian student youth in various socio-historical contexts".
The activity of the International Laboratory for Applied Network Research was extended for the next year after a successful defense at the HSE Expert Council.
On December 24 Valeria Shorokhova (PhD in Psychology, Associate Professor, Department of Ethnopsychology and Psychological Problems of Multicultural Education, MSUPE) took part in the "Culture matters" research seminar with the report "Social perceptions of success among modern Muslims".
Violetta Korsunova, Junior Research Fellow, and Boris Sokolov, Laboratory Head, have become the prizewinners of the Elizabeth H. Nelson Prize for the best paper from a society in transition.
