On June 24, 2025 at the HSE University in Perm began a summer series of workshops under RNF Grant 25-18-00539: “Comparative Analysis of Behavior of Artificial Intelligence-Based Agents and Real Individuals in Economic Decision-Making” led by Petr Parshakov.
The XXVIII International Joint Scientific Conference "Internet and Modern Society" was held from June 23 to 25, 2025 in St. Petersburg. ITMO University and the Non-Profit Partnership "PRIOR North-West" organized the conference. International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration Research Fellow Yury Kabanov presented a pilot study on the impact of decentralization on the effectiveness of the subnational digital government.
Within the framework of the session "The rights of young scientists to their developments: how not to drown in bureaucracy?", organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and O.E. Kutafin University, the issue of barriers and incentives for applied research carried out by young scientists was discussed.
On June 17, the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology at HSE University hosted the conference "Experimental and Informational Approaches to Pathological States Research." The event featured participation from a laboratory staff member, Olga Chebotareva, a third-year graduate student in Molecular Biology, who presented the report "Microfluidic Modeling of Trophoblast Invasion: An Experimental Approach to Studying Preeclampsia Pathogenesis."
Researchers from HSE University and the Institute of Control Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences have proposed a new method of data analysis: tunnel clustering. It allows for the rapid identification of groups of similar objects and requires fewer computational resources than traditional methods. Depending on the data configuration, the algorithm can operate dozens of times faster than its counterparts. Thestudy was published in the journal Doklady Rossijskoj Akademii Nauk. The articles in latest issue of the Foresight journal (V. 19, № 2) analyze factors that determine the effectiveness of innovative entrepreneurship ecosystems, new tools for assessing their prospects and developing a competence base.
The Programme Committee of the 25th Yasin (April) International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development has summed up the initial results. In 2025, 1,384 people from 24 countries and 29 Russian regions participated in the conference, with 335 of them delivering presentations.
