ANR-Lab members took part in the main event in the field of social network analysis – XXXIX SunbeltSocial Networks Conference in Montreal, Canada.

From June 18 to June 20, the staff of the ILSCR took part in the 7th international conference of The Migration Conference 2019, the leading event of migration researchers organized this year at the University of Bari Aldo Moro (Bari, Italy).

8th Annual Conference of the International Center for the Study of Institutions and Development (ICSID) «Political Economy of Redistribution and Institutional Change» took place at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow on June 13-15, 2019. Over the years the conference has turned from a small scientific event into a serious platform for discussing actual issues in the field of political economy, and has already become a tradition for many researchers to visit.

On Wednesday, June 19 the all-Russian seminar "Mathematical methods of decision analysis in economics, finance and politics" was held. G. Almukhametova gave a lecture on "Network analysis of scientific interaction on the problems of the Arctic".

Anja Žnidaršič' (PhD, University of Maribor, Slovenia) has visited ANR-Lab according to the HSE International Scholar's Visit Program.

On June 13 International Laboratory of Financial Economics (LFE) held the second series of Annual Summer Workshop in Finance at ICEF.

Alexander Sokolov, Director of the Foresight Centre and Deputy Director of the HSE ISSEK, visited Shanghai (PRC) in early May to take part in the International Pujiang Innovation Forum. The forum is annually hosted by the PRC Ministry of Science and Technology jointly with the Shanghai Municipal Government to discuss and coordinate decisions in the science, technology, and innovation policy area. This year the participants shared their expectations about the period until 2035.

On June 10 and 11, Daria Maltseva, Deputy Laboratory Head, and Anja Žnidaršič, PhD University of Maribor, Slovenia, organized a workshop "Analysis of Bibliometric Networks" at Tomsk State University.

On May 28 International Laboratory of Financial Economics (LFE) held the first series of Annual Summer Workshop in Finance at ICEF.

On May 24 the article "Towards an Integration of Models of Discrimination of Immigrants: from Ultimate (Functional) to Proximate (Sociofunctional) Explanations" by Anastasia Batkhina, John W. Berry, Dmitry Grigoryev and Fons van de Vijver is available online.
