The 18th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing (ICAISC) was held at the Mercury Hotel, located in the Polish city of Zakopane, from June 16 to June 20, 2019. Dmitry Frolov shared his impressions on his visit to Metz.

Anja Žnidaršič' (PhD, University of Maribor, Slovenia) has visited ANR-Lab according to the HSE International Scholar's Visit Program.

Alexander Sokolov, Director of the Foresight Centre and Deputy Director of the HSE ISSEK, visited Shanghai (PRC) in early May to take part in the International Pujiang Innovation Forum. The forum is annually hosted by the PRC Ministry of Science and Technology jointly with the Shanghai Municipal Government to discuss and coordinate decisions in the science, technology, and innovation policy area. This year the participants shared their expectations about the period until 2035.

At the XX April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development, ANR-Lab organized its own section "Network Analysis".

On Wednesday, March 20 the all-Russian seminar "Mathematical methods of decision analysis in economics, finance and politics" was held. Dr. Ir. Corné G. Kocks gave a lecture on "Big Data in Precision Farming"

On Wednesday, February 20 the all-Russian seminar "Mathematical methods of decision analysis in economics, finance and politics" was held. O. Kuznetsov gave a lecture on "Discrete Asynchronous Models".

On Wednesday, January 16 the all-Russian seminar "Mathematical methods of decision analysis in economics, finance and politics" was held. A. Podchufarov gave a lecture on "Theory and Practice of Сompetitiveness Management based on 3-circuit MCC model".

Some of the ICSID researchers took part in The second Ghent Russia colloquium "Russia's political economy since 1992: Back to the future?" that was held at Ghent University (Belgium) on December 11-12, 2018. The  topics discussed focused primarily on Russian studies.

On Wednesday, December 19 the all-Russian seminar "Mathematical methods of decision analysis in economics, finance and politics" was held. C. Sorokin gave a lecture on "Optimal information disclosure in auctions".
