Course Syllabus
Abstract
The course “Procurement Management in Supply Chains” is designed to develop a systematic understanding of the role of procurement within strategic supply chain management. It covers modern approaches to organizing and optimizing procurement activities, including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, category management, digital procurement tools, and risk management.
Special attention is given to the integration of procurement into overall supply chain design, as well as its links with international trade, customs regulations, and contractual frameworks.
The course builds on prior knowledge in logistics, supply chain management, international trade, Incoterms, and supply chain design, and focuses on developing practical decision-making skills at both strategic and operational levels.
