Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course aims at developing basic communicative competences in the chosen foreign language that include: communicative competence, language competence, socio-cultural competence, cognitive competence.

Learning Objectives

• be able to translate thematic texts on Japanese culture, socio-economic problems and political features

Expected Learning Outcomes

• Students can discuss interpersonal and intercultural exchange difficulties
• Students can discuss issues of Asian influence on modern society
• Students can discuss advantages and difficulties of travelling abroad
• Students can write and read about 365 Japanese characters
• Students can discuss problems and challenges of interpersonal relationships in modern times
