Course Syllabus

Abstract

Investment Management course is aimed to gain deep knowledge in how investment strategies are designed to reach financial goals in a global context. This course provides insights into investment projects management of various scales and industry affiliation. Being a continuation of Global Industry Analysis and Financial Markets courses, it address key issues in risk management and provides a guide to the measurement of performance of fund management. The coursework will involve students in examining accounting and finance from the perspective of those, who use financial reports to evaluate company and managerial performance. It captures the theory that underlies strong investment decisions, as well as practical, real-world skills that can be applied when evaluating investment proposals and managing own personal assets
