Course Syllabus

Abstract

This course•Considers the model of computing systems as a hierarchy of interrelated information processing levels •Studies classification of computing systems by the type of architectural solutions and their scope of applications•Gives the knowledge of the main directions of development of computer technology on the state of art examples •Students will learn digital logic level, microarchitecture, instruction set architecture level, introduction to operation systems and assembler•Each IT specialist must study and can apply in his activity the Architecture of Computing Systems course

  • The goal of this course is to create a conceptual view of computing systems as a hierarchy of interrelated information processing levels.
  • Students will learn computing systems of different types, various architectural solution, and application.
  • Students will get a global vision of the main directions of development of computer technologies on the example of specific modern samples of it.
