Abstract

The course is aimed to explore such aspects as: “Trans-turn” in linguistics and intercultural communication Language – Interlanguage – Translanguage Languaging and Translanguaging Transmodality Transnationalism

  • Exploring trans-trends in linguistics, culture and communication studies, with a focus on transmodality, interpretivism, referentiality, intertextuality, transactionalism, positivity approaches to interactional sociolinguistics and cross-cultural communication
  • Applying knowledge and research methods of translinguistics and transcultural communication for practical analysis of texts, discourse, communication acts and settings
  • Integrating translingualism and transculturality for projecting and designing communication activities and events
